At home he is aka "Thorry Boy!!" and "Thorry Pawry Sawrus" (we used to say he had Four Thor Pawths and a lithp).

Thor is "Daddy's Lickle Man".

Despite his size now, this name started when he was much smaller and stuck.

Thor is a long coat red sable just in case you were wondering about that colour. Looking at his pictures, you can see how his colour has changed since he was a pup. This colour change continued until just after he was 2 years old.

Thor is a very laid back chap. When training him, it takes a lot to get him worked up and excited enough to produce his best work. Thor enjoys his time in the obedience ring, knows his stuff but he likes to do things at a slower pace than is sometimes required.

Retrieve is still a mystery to Thor. He does not seem to follow why I would want him to bring something back that I have just made him watch me throw away. This is going to be the challenge with him but we have made some progress. Thor is also quite soft mouthed and he does everything gently. This is brilliant until you want him to pick up a wooden dumbell.

Temperament wise, Thor is fantastic. Very little bothers him or gets him agitated. He is super with kids and has been with me on many behaviour visits as chief stooge.

He has helped me show quite a few dogs that being daft and thinking that the world is out to get you is not the way to be.

Jan 2008- Thor passes his Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Silver Award

June 2008- Thor takes 6th place at BAGSD Northern Branches Obedience Show(Pre Beg)

June 2008- Thor takes 3rd place at Preston & Flyde (Pre Beg)

August 2008-Thor takes 1st place at Wakefield!!! (Pre Beg) WINS OUT!

August 2008-Thor takes 2nd place at Wakefield (Pre Beg) The day after!

September 2008-Thor takes 2nd place (after declining a run off) at Great Yarmouth

September 2008- Thor takes 1st place at Norfolk Broads Show (GCDS Special Pre Beg)

November 2008- Thor takes 5th place at Discover Dogs, London (GCDS Special Pre Beg)
